Clearly, the killer robots are growing out of their, “What does it mean to be human?” phase and entering the, “How could we possibly let humans continue to dominate and ravage this world?” period. It’s a somewhat standard arc to follow, but things become standards for a reason, right?
So, the first-ever Denver Comic Con is this weekend! Though it runs three days, I’m just going to be in attendance on Saturday, wandering around the Denver Convention Center (hopefully with a sizable group of friends) and bothering perfectly nice people whose books I’ve bought in order to obtain some signatures. And loathing Wil Wheaton’s absence, even if he does have a perfectly legitimate reason. I have this fantasy that Mad Scientist High itself might have a table there next year…
