Galt’s dad has been away for a little over a month now, and the world continues to turn. I bet Dr. Thompson, Jr. (since he, like his father, is a mad scientist himself) wishes it were otherwise.

On a real-world note, today marks the North American release of Ridley Scott’s new movie, Prometheus. Ever since I saw this trailer – which is better put together and more compelling than 90% of the movies I’ve seen in the last six years – I’ve been counting down the hours until its release. Honestly, I’d have traded opportunities to see every single other movie slated to come out this summer if it meant I got to see Prometheus earlier. So, it’s not like I have high expectations or anything. [UPDATE: If you're curious as to how I felt about Prometheus, you can read the short essay I posted to my film blog here.]

And on a final, Mad Scientist High-related note, Welcome to Herman Kahn Memorial High School, the first digital collection of MSH strips, is on sale now! 130+ comics with updated commentary on a DRM-free PDF for $3!
