So, we’re picking up the school dance storyline, finally. And it’s actually going to conclude this time! It’s just going to take a little while longer. But, the end is in sight! It’s all drawn and everything. I just have to, you know, ink it, scan it, clean it up, color and letter it.
The flower shop to which I went to buy the first corsage I ever bought was about a mile away from my parents’ house, in a building that had previously housed the best Little Caesar’s Pizza into which I’ve ever set foot, and likely ever will. I was in the same boat as Galt; I didn’t know anything. Fortunately, the Dom DeLuise-looking guy working there that day had a solution, and he made one of what he called the catch-all corsage. He promised it’d look good on anything, and I think he was right. I think. It was long enough ago that I can’t really remember. I did a better job the second time.
Since it’s been a rather long time between dropping the dance story thread and now, you can go here, here, here, here, here, here, and here if you’d like to catch up. Or, just click on the “school dances” keyword.
